Radiography of a 50-Ohm-BNC termination
resistor, measured with the Handmonitor and the Real-time Centroiding
Processor.
This image is a compound of two separate radiographs, each one showing
only part of the object. The applied thermal flux was 30000
neutrons/sec
over the whole detector area. The exposure time was 3 hours.
Test of a fiber optical neutron lens.
The
first image shows a picture of the focus (0.38 mm FWHM). The second
image
shows the neutron intensity distribution at the exit aperture of the
lens.
The hexagonal structure of the fiber bundles is clearly resolved.
